On May 28, 2014 at the headquarters of the Central African States Bank (BEAC) in Yaoundé, the Cameroonian Treasury will be conducting a new Treasury bill issuance totalling 10 billion FCfa according to a release published by the central bank.

Subscriptions for these securities with a one-year maturity with tax withheld on interest, will take place at 13 banks across CEMAC approved as primary dealers by the Cameroonian Ministry of Finance.

This will be the third fundraising effort on the BEAC by the State of Cameroon in the 2nd quarter of 2014 and follows the 5 billion FCfa raised at the April 30 auction which was followed by the 10 billion raised on May 14 with a final subscription rate of 333%.
