Cinpharm to increase operational capital

The pharmaceutical industrial company (Cinpharm SA) could not mobilize the sum of 1.2 billion Cfa francs required for its operations our source revealed. After a round table meeting held to that effect, the company has decided to increase its operational capital.

After a first subscription period opened from January 20 to February 27 2015, the President of the Council of administration of the Cameroonian pharmaceutical laboratory, Célestin Tawamba has announced the opening of another subscription period from April 3 - 30, 2015.

Clearly, investors have an extra month to subscribe for 127,800 new shares with a value of 10,000 Cfa Francs each, issued as part of this drive to increase Cinpharm's operational capital.

The appeal initiated by Cinpharm should allow this industrial unit to mobilize a portion of its fund turnover, estimated at more than 3 billion Cfa francs to restart operations.

Indeed, the financial difficulties facing this company, born in of Rhône-Poulenc in 2010, have forced its leaders to cease activity since 2013.
