Disturbances on Orange Cameroon network

For several days, subscribers of mobile operator Orange in Yaounde and other cities across the country complain of poor quality of services.

Despite several attempts, the calls are not always successful. Either the message "network busy" appears, or it's the voice operator that says that "the subscriber is not reachable at the moment."

As for SMS, subscribers also experience a lot of trouble messaging since messages are often not sent. Sometimes a customer may send an SMS and then receive the message "failure" to inform him of the failure to deliver the SMS.

If the operation is repeated several times to multiply chances to send the SMS, sometimes it still gets the message "failure" but the SMS is sent several times to the receiver with the airtime charged as many times as sent.

For the Internet bundle, it is impossible to recharge online. A message informs users that the platform is overloaded or down for maintenance and should try again later.

Although they connect to the network, customers are unable to browse. Same thing happens in Internet cafes that use the Orange Live box.

So far, Orange has not yet communicated on this issue that has lasted nearly two weeks.

Poor quality of service poses problems for subscribers wanting to renew phone numbers for SIM cards that were stolen, grilled or blocked.
