Douala II 2015 budget increases by nearly Fcfa 300 million

Douala II budget for fiscal year 2015 has undergone an increase of nearly Fcfa 300 million F from 2014. The budget of the municipality, recently voted, will be mainly devoted to social projects.

This increase is explained by best practices, due, among other things, to the expansion of the tax base and good collection of property tax and transfer of real property rights.

The 2015 budget, after consideration and adoption by the members of the Council is balanced in revenue and expenditure at nearly Fcfa 2 billion F. According to Mayor Denise Fampou, it will be devoted specially to ongoing social projects in this county.

The development of common safety hygiene, the accompaniment of the income generating projects for young people, assistance to idling families, the continuation of the construction of the Town Hall, etc.
