The performances achieved by the Special Inter-council Equipment and Intervention Fund (Feicom), bank of the councils in Cameroon, were again lauded at the end of the 28th session of the Board of this public institution, which was held in Yaoundé.

According to the communiqué issued at the end of this meeting, the Board members were satisfied with “the continuous improvement in the collection and payment of the Centimes Additionnels Communaux (CAC) and other council taxes (ICSP) in 2015”.

Indeed, we learn, during 2015, Feicom paid to the Cameroonian councils a total of FCfa 86.5 billion, against FCfa 76.7 billion in 2014, an increase of 12.7% in relative value.

This performance could even improve this year since, Feicom’s Board highlights, for the first quarter of 2016 only,
