First edition of ‘Masters of quality’ opens in February 2015

The first edition of ‘Masters of quality’, a gathering for companies that aspire to foster competitiveness and outstanding performance will be held from 3rd to 7th February 2015. The event will take place in Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Mines, industry and development technology (Minmidt), Emmanuel Bonde, during a press briefing held in the Conference Room of his Department.

"Emergence of national quality, competitiveness of the Cameroonian industries leverage infrastructure’ is the theme for this first edition of the 'Masters of quality' which, according to Minister will be a platform for professional exchanges.

In a five-day programme, participants will discuss how to raise awareness and brainstorm on the new Government strategy for the development of quality. It will also be a platform that bring together players in the sector to a synergise their activities to implement and adopt better systems of production of goods and services.

"The promotion of quality is a concern for everyone. It represents a considerable challenge in the effective implementation of a genuine economic recovery strategy in Cameroon," Minmidt said.
