The Cameroonian public Electricity Development company Corporation (EDC), owner of the construction project of the Lom Pangar dam in the East Region of Cameroon, has launched a tender of pre-qualification for interested companies by "the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the Lom Pangar manufactoring and installation of spillway job market."
Eligible records for this market is financed by Cameroonian government through a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB), bidders offers must reach EDC not later than 8 October 2014.
We learnt that the shortlist of the pre-qualified should be known not until December 2014 due date, for the launch of invitations to tender towards the companies which would have passed this first step.
Recall that the factory to be built at the foot of the Lom Pangar dam will have a production capacity of 30 MW and will electrify many villages in the Eastern Region, through the installation of a transport line of 90 KV, with a length of about 120 km, between the dam site and the town of Bertoua.
