KIRO'o Games to close down multi-million investment fund

KIRO'o Games, the young Cameroonian company that is embarking on the production of a game from a local studio, announced the closure of its equity of 182,504 euros (120 million Cfa francs), two years after its launch.

"The project has generated sufficient guarantees and global visibility." "This is felt by an effect "dynamite" by generating more achievements than subscriptions", Olivier Madiba, the DG of the company, told agency Ecofin, visibly satisfied.

The sum may seem small, but in the environment of the company in Cameroon, it is practically a pioneering success. KIRO'o Games is already the first game production studio installed in francophone Africa, it is also one of the first small business to have explored the avenues of the capital risk to mobilize financing for its expansion.

According to financial data released by the company, these resource mobilization followed three main stages, First known as "fire bursts", which was to open the capital to everyone.

In the 2nd year in 2014, it was now "precision fire", with effect to get few subscriptions for almost 98% of achievements. At the beginning of the year 2015, the project had a "snow ball" effect, which is characterized much more quickly by a large number of achievements.
