Kribi, Dibamba plants yielded 14.2b CFA francs in 2013

The Companies Kribi Power Development Corporation (KPDC) and Dibamba Power Development Corporation (DPDC), which managed the central gas in Kribi (216MW) and oil of Dibamba (86 MW), respectively recorded profits of 14.2 billion francs Cfa in 2013, announced a release with sanctioned boards of Directors of both companies held in Paris on 5 September 2014.

With its 216 MW of installed capacity, the Kribi gas plant reported to the KPDC a total profits of 8.7 billion Cfa francs, while central Dierickx, reported 5.5 billion Cfa francs to the DPDC company.

The 302 MW of electricity generated by these two power stations, now controlled by Globeleq (of which 100% of the assets are owned by Actis), are essentially provided to Eneo, company dealer of the public service of electricity in Cameroon, redeemed to the US group AES Corp. by Actis British private investment fund since end of 2013.
