Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank, Mathieu Mandeng has been re-elected President of the Professional Association of the credit institutions for two years (2014-2016).
Mathieu was first elected by the Executive Board on June 21, 2012 to take up this mantle renewable after 2 years. This new appointment was made public at the end of the General Assembly of the association, held on 13th November in Douala.
The Executive Office of Apeccam include; Jean-Paul Marie Missi, CEO of Crédit foncier de Cameroon as first Vice President; Mr. Daouck Hicham, DG of Alios Finance, second Vice President; Mrs. Yaou Aïssatou, DG of the national investment society, Treasurer; Jean-Philippe Guillaume, the DG of Société générale Cameroun, as Commissioner to the accounts; Alphonse Nafack, DG of Afriland First Bank, as a member.
Pierre Kam, Director General of Africa Leasing made his entry to the office as member in replacement of Dominique Hippolito, CEO of Cameroonian society of equipment, which was part of the elected office on June 21, 2012. Bénédict Bélibi remains the permanent Secretary General of the Association.
Apeccam, which aims to defend the interests of its members, include 13 commercial banks carrying out activities in Cameroon, banking-related public bodies (SNI, Campost, Crédit Foncier of Cameroon, etc.); and financial institutions like Africa Leasing company, Alios Finance; the CES and Pro-SME.
