A mini-forum took place last week on the opportunities for training and employment in Nyong-and-So'o.
Experts from the national employment fund (FNE) organized a mini-forum on employment on the theme: "opportunities for training and employment in Nyong-and-So'o '
Jacques Ledoux Sherif, Director regional FNE for the Centre said Thursday at the opening of the mini-forum that the objective of this event is to bring the Fund closer to its target. "It is question of publicizing the FNE and its services for entrepreneurs on the one hand and the other hand job seekers." In practice, it was a platform to register job seekers and conduct interviews for guidance.
For business leaders, they were treated at the seminar with three areas of intervention: "what the FNE has to offer, the Fund expects of them and what they should do together, for example show of partnership programs", according to the regional director.
On-the-job training programs, employment programs in lieu of the personnel to enforce their pension rights, programme of on-the-job training, programmes of self-employment and micro-enterprises, specific programmes to develop within the town halls, etc.
Already, the third Deputy Mayor of Mbalmayo, Mathurin Ambassa developed opportunities for employment in his constituency.
"We are a mainly agricultural town, young people can engage in agriculture, fish farming with the nyong River which crosses the city. You can be inspired to create ponds all around. Mbalmayo youth can do in basketry, since here we have a training centre with Italians that train in artistic occupations such as sculpture, painting and pottery.
Precisely, Jacques Ledoux Etonde said that after this mini-forum FNE will endeavour to seek jobs to satisfy the applicants registered in this Department, second provider of employment in the Centre. A quest that will simply begin by putting in contacts of the researchers with entrepreneurs based in Nyong-and-So'o.
