Promote 2014: Brazil rely on agriculture and civil aviation for its first participation

25 companies represented Brazil for their first participation in the Promote fair. NEI Futuro Bitencourt, Ambassador of the federative Republic of Brazil in Cameroon, has made it clear that: "the absence of Brazil in the previous editions is questionable because it is a very important fair in Cameroon and in the sub-region. It is surprising that Brazil has taken so much time and work to come to Promote."

And he point out that there are many opportunities for Brazilian businessmen. Cameroonian businessmen were also making good profits because Brazilian products are very competitive in price and quality.

"We have products for civil aviation: aircraft of medium-range adapted to the conditions of the African continent. We also have aircraft security, excellent military aircraft for pilot training. It is the embryo of a real air force. On the other hand, the country presented products from various sectors including agri-food, agribusiness, agricultural machinery, cosmetics... "

"There are not only products, but also technologies and services in the agricultural sector that are important either to Cameroon and for the Brazil", said the Ambassador. And to clarify: "we have a company in the production of soy and corn whose productivity rates of corn, in the Adamaoua region, are four times higher than the average of Cameroon. This is precisely what Cameroon research in terms of second and third generation agriculture."

In addition, since the beginning of the exhibition, the Ambassador noted that Cameroonian enterprises in the sectors of engineering, transportation, the production of sheet metal have already started cooperation with Brazil.

"These are companies that have decided to seek not only the price but especially the quality. The African market is saturated with cheap products but which do not correspond to demand, the requirement and standards desired by the Cameroonian", he noted.
