Public procurement sector evolves

While heading towards the end of the third year of the creation of the Department of public procurement (Minmap), the sector is gradually gaining visibility. The figures recently published show an evolution.

At the level of the regions, 3080 contracts were awarded on the 3,359 programme for November 24, 2014. At the level of ministries, 849 contracts were awarded on the 1,148 programme.

Physical implementation of the contracts is 58%, with 40% of approved contracts. Among the improvements is anticipation as soon as December 2014 of the programming of the markets by 2015 for more speed.

Checks carried out by the Minmap helped to improve the quality of the services.

The establishment, by presidential circular June 19, 2012, prior the MINMAP visa, before payment of the counts led to the catching up and straightening of many unfortunate and incongruous situations. The figures underwent adjustments to an amount of 12,223,470,943 F CFA for the benefit of the Public Treasury.

The Ministry, obviously, succeeded in the implementation of the tasks assigned to it by the head of State.
