The general secretariat of the economic community of Central Africa States (ECCAS) with the support of the African business climate (BIZCLIM), Pacific and Caribbean (ACP) organizes 11th to November 12th, 2014 in Douala, a workshop aimed at improving the business environment in this region of the African continent.
This meeting which will see the participation of leaders of business community, who will discuss and validate the first results of the diagnostic study to guide the project team.
These countries of the ECCAS intend to create conditions of competitiveness of local businesses, to face the challenges of globalization, the set up of a framework of reflection on the definition of a regional Programme for the improvement of the (AFRP) business environment through simplification of procedures.
This approach stems from growing markets in developing and emerging interest in the creation of wealth in local communities as well as the winds of reform in the business around the globe.
Although committed on national development policies, ECCAS countries with the Treaty of Libreville, in Gabon in 1983 recommends inter alia, the strengthening of harmonious economic cooperation, are aware that needed concerted actions are required to deal with development issues.
