Societe General France lends CMR FCFA 46 billion to build 55 metal bridges

The leader of the Cameroonian State, Paul Biya, by decree signed on December 4, 2014, has just authorized the signing, by the Minister of the economy, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, two financing agreements between the State of Cameroon and the Société Générale de Paris.

Respective amounts of 24.9 and 21 billion Cfa francs (i.e. respectively 37.9 and 30,012 million euros), these funds will be used, specified the presidential decrees, for the "partial financing of the project of construction of 55 metal bridges" in Cameroon.

This project with the continuation of the construction of the 2nd bridge over the Wouri and one on the Mayo Banyo, feature among the activities of the Cameroon Ministry of public works on behalf of the year 2015. Via this Ministerial Department with the 2015 budget of 344.9 billion Cfa francs, the State of Cameroon will co-finance this project.
