The Cameroonian government has just launched an open restricted international call for tenders, for the recruitment of a company which will be in charge of transporting crude oil on behalf of the Société nationale de raffinage (Sonara – National Refinery Company), whose factory is located in the town of Limbe, South-West Cameroon.
This contract for a provisional FCfa 37.5 billion, as highlighted by the official communiqué of the Ministry of Public Procurement, will be undertaken over a 3-year period starting from this year, 2016.
The interested companies can submit their proposals to the Ministry of Public Procurement in Yaoundé, latest by 1 June 2016. These proposals, we learned, should be supported by a FCfa 715 million guarantee.
