9 murder suspects arrested in Kumbo

The Kumbo Police last Sunday, arrested nine suspects at Mbveh in connection with the death of one man popularly known as “Ta-a Kimbo” who was found dead under a truck at Mbveh Motor Park at around 3 pm that day.

According to a relative, the deceased person whose name was given as Konglim Christopher alias “Ta-a Kimbo” was last seen on that fateful day moving around with a wounded head.

Late Konglim Christopher is said to have been mentally deranged and used to move about and stealing things from people and selling.

He was once married and a father of five children but sent away his wife when he started suffering from the feats of madness.

Sources say he destroyed the house in which he was living with the family and took abode in his father’s compound in Mbinkar of the Banka neighbourhood Kumbo.

However, he was sent away when he started stealing people’s property and bringing them to the compound.

Although the exact cause of his death is not known people are convinced of the fact that Konglim Christopher must have died as a result of bleeding excessively from the wounds he sustained on his head.

Police investigations to determine the cause of his death continue. Meanwhile the deceased’s remains were examined by medical personnel in front of the deputy State Counsel of Bui before they were taken to the Shisong Catholic Mortuary for preservation and later on for burial.
