A Taxi Driver Murdered in Yaounde

A taxi driver in Yaounde was discovered dead and abandoned around his taxi during the early hours of Friday September 6, 2013 at the Nsimeyong neighbourhood in Yaounde.

Aged 25 before his demise, Richard Kiloh's corpse is currently at the Yaounde Central Hospital mortuary awaiting onward transportation to his region of origin, North West.

A friend to the deceased, Bruno Ngwani, says during the early hours of that fateful day, a passer-by saw Richard's taxi packed inside a roadside bush at the Nsimeyong neighbourhood. When the on-looker went closer to see why the car was packed there, he discovered Richard's corpse with his legs and hands tied.

It was also speculated that before dying, Richard might have tussled with the people who assaulted him because wounds were found all over his body while his mouth and nostrils blocked with pieces of cloth and sealed with a cello tape.
