Um Napoleon, 30, was on January 8, 2016, thoroughly beaten up by inhabitants and passersby of the Cité Sic neighbourhood of Douala.

After watching Um’s moves, the angry mob suspected he was an armed robber, though he was not caught red-handed. He was only rescued from being lynched by men of the 7th District Public Security Police Station and rushed to the Laquintinie Hospital in a critical state.

On the other hand, 22-year-old Ibrahima Swaibou was caught harassing a young girl in Dakar near the Bonaloka entrance. He was saved from a furious mob by men of the 8th District Pubic Security Police Station.
