Thugs attack Motombolombo High School

The Government High School, G.H.S in Motombolombo in Tiko was attacked by eight wild boys armed with machetes on February 17, 2015.

The gang reportedly rushed to the upper sixth class and attempted to kidnap a student.

According to sources, the attack resulted from a social brawl between the said upper sixth student and the vandals.

Our source revealed that, the said student recently maltreated their female friend in his capacity as a former prefect. His abuse of power geared at the girl in question is said to have infuriated the thugs who decided to settle scores with the boy.

From the aforementioned collected grievances, the vandals mustered the courage to launch an attack on the boy at the school.

Unfortunately, the combined efforts of the teachers, the security service and the students foiled their evil intentions and sent the invaders fleeing.

Though resolved, the school administration under Principal Banteki Bertha and her close aides like the Vice Principal Nimameh Raymond, Obale and Ojongtambia has decided to take up the issue.

In this vein, the administration and the police are conducting an investigation to arrest the thugs and punish them duly.

This attack it should be noted, happened at a time when the Tiko Divisional Officer, Che Patrick ngwasishi, was embarking on security meeting with the concerned bodies of jurisdiction.

Hence, the school, G.H.S Motombolombo-Tiko, is under tight security by police armed to the teeth to foster security.
