Yaoundé VI Town Hall burgled

The premise of the commune of Yaoundé VI Town Hall was burglarized on the nights of Thursday, September 25 and Friday September 26, 2014 and incurred a loss of 350, 000 Fcfa.

According to the security man who is currently under treatment in a hospital, there were three armed burglars. He was brutally attacked, gagged, tied up and thrown in a corner of the Hall by the burglars.

According to Alain Wahouo, “We found out that twenty offices were completely gutted, together with their drawers and safes. It is difficult to say specifically what their mission was because they took away money belonging to the agents”. The victims disclosed that their losses amounted to almost 350,000 CFA francs.

Aside from the ransacked offices, they said three pigeons had been killed and thrown into the premises before being discarded. The Office of the Commissioner of the 9th and the gendarmerie brigade of Vog-Betsi got to the scene and an investigation is underway to find the perpetrators of the crime.
