Another act added to MTN BushFire 2015 line-up

Grammy nominated Sweet Honey in the Rock has been added onto this year’s three-day MTN BushFire Festival.

BushFire’s Aimee Rowe announced that the award-winning all female acappella group from the US, joins the newly unveiled line-up for Africa’s most diverse world music and arts festival that kicks off on May29.

She stated that the group is a performance ensemble rooted in African American history and culture. The ensemble educates, entertains and empowers its audience through dyanmic vocal arrangements, acappella and American Sign Language interpretation for the deaf and hard of hearing.

The internationally acclaimed group, formed in 1973 has toured extensively sharing their music with audiences on a global level.

“Their reputation precedes them and MTN BushFire is thrilled to confirm their attendance at this year’s festival,” she added.

The American band joins the line-up, featuring many stellar international acts set to grace the mainstage including; Kadebostany from Switzerland, Poni Hoax from France, Black Jesus Experience from Australia and headliners Les Nubian from Cameroon, France and the USA.

The main stage line-up for MTN BushFire 2015 reflects a truly global and diverse range of musical genres, complimenting the many artists performing Swaziland and neighbouring countries within the region.
