The Bamenda Congress Hall will, from October 9-12 this year, play host to international music stars in a festival organised by “IN THE MOOV” in collaboration with Project New Bamenda, PNB. Musicians from Nigeria and some Cameroon Makossa stars led by Petit Pays will take part in the festival.
Being a festival of music and arts, “IN THE MOOV” is designed to highlight the cultural diversity of the Northwest Region.
According to the main organisers, Ali Moustapha, Walter Oaks Ntumgia, the three days “will be an excellent platform that will serve as a link between young talents and musical stars. The musical festival will showcase traditional dances, budding talents and acclaimed artists.”
Speaking during a press conference on September 16, in Bamenda, the organisers explained that “IN THE MOOV” is a cultural cocktail that combines demonstration, entertainment and ambiance, a festival atmosphere that will include the gastronomy with classic restaurants.
Considering that most youths are looking for jobs and there are no jobs, “IN THE MOOV” in collaboration with Ntambeng Cooperative Credit Union, presented another project, “Rise to Inspire.”
In this light, 10 successes were presented to the youth which, according to them, is an ideal setting for the development of real business opportunities. It was revealed that these groups offer a yearly platform that initiates and multiplies meetings between investors and project developers.
