CAMIFF: 5 days to go

In five days, Cameroon will be hosting international film makers all over the world in the south Western region, precisely in Buea, where the three days durst would be elevating and settling for the first edition of, Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF).

On Saturday, January 1, 2016, at Djeuga Palace – Yaoundé, witnessed the nomination party with the official selection made to the general public with the United States, Canadian and German embassies all present with the Cameroon ministry of culture, to witness the historical moment in the country.

Buea is ready, the logistics are 110% complete, with every inhabitant ready to welcome the international film ambassadors.

Buea is not only preparing for the festival to “come take and go”, but, also ready to use the award initiative as a medium, for the different cultures to get married and yield good fruits in feature – we may be having different colors but we are one people.

The Buea Mountain itself is smiling, the security is tight, and the restaurants are ready with traditional rich protein dishes like: Achu, Kate-Kate, Ero, Mbongo, Roasted fish… to make the film makers writes short films as they all heads back to the various countries via Camair-Co Airlines, the official festival’s airline transporter.

Cameroon is ready, Buea is willing.
