Charlotte Dipanda set for “Massa tour” in Cameroon

Cameroonian-born artist, Charlotte Dipanda has met with pressmen in Yaounde to update them ahead of her two grand concerts scheduled for 10th and 11th April 2015 in Douala and Yaounde, respectively. The concerts will be the official launch of her new album, “Massa”.

During the press conference, Charlotte Dipanda reiterated the need to be on time, precising that the concerts will start just around the time mentioned on the tickets.

The artist also disclosed that the concert shall feature budding artists like Label and Rose Erta, amongst others.

The press briefing also served as opportunity for the artist to explain the lyrics of some songs in the ten-track album and emphasise that her songs are based on love, tolerance, human relationships and societal issues.

Charlotte Dipanda told pressmen that the new album, “Massa” is different from the first two as she uses it to make others discover the riches of her country. To her, “Massa” is a bridge between Cameroon and the world.

In this light, the “Massa tour” which has taken her from Paris and now to Douala and Yaounde, will continue to Cote d’Ivoire, Poland and Europe at large, the USA and Canada.

The artist is optimistic that by next year, she will have a concert at the renowned Olympia Hall in France.

Charlotte Dipanda’s concerts shall take place at the Castel Hall in Douala and the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex on the 10th and 11th of April 2015 as from 7 pm prompt.
