Franko, the new urban sensation with his hit single 'Coller La Petite' has undisputedly crowned its position presently as the most loved and chanted song in Cameroon.

Considering the fact that YouTube could now be used as a way of measuring popular and famous songs, without an appropriate music watchdog in Cameroon, KamerKonnection took interest.

We found out that from a list of recently released videos within the last 6 months, Franko’s Coller La Petite tremendously distincted itself from the likes of Stanley Enow, Jovi, Salatiel, Mr Leo, One Love, X Maleya, Minks just to name a few, as the first Cameroonian song ever to reach 500k+ within a month of release.

With just his third official video, after his first single Les Filles D’Aujourd'hui, the superiority of the 'Coller La Petite' song is acknowledged. A day doesn’t go by without listening to the song from somewhere either on radio, Foreign TV, from a neighbor, at parties, snacks bars, restaurants, cell phone plays, children on playing grounds etc.

Silently paving its way, the Coller la petite phenomenon has been endorsed by so many other artistes in the business.

This pure Afro beat is an indication once more that Cameroon has what it takes to conquer continentally and even internally with just a little more of concentration and hard working artistes who can come out with a very good track to keep everybody wanting more.

Having 5 songs of this genre at the same time can definitely make a difference on the Cameroonian musical landscape as the unfortunate reality is that songs like this only come once in a while.

Following rumors of the song being banned within the national territory, has only gone a long way imposing the song in the nation as the untouchable song at the moment.

Now all expectations are geared towards the release of an EP or LP from the artiste, hoping he manages to secure amazing songs covered with talent and creativity.
