Crystal Beauty Show beams into Fako

Frustrations caused by the inability to view/consume Cameroonian TV shows produced in the diaspora, for lack of access to the Internet in some parts of the country will soon be a thing of the past.

One of such shows is now being beamed into Cameroonian homes, especially in Fako Division, South West region, from Chillen Music Television, CMTV.

CMTV is a Buea-based young TV station, specialized in music and other forms of entertainment. It was announced early Sunday March 22, 2015 that the Crystal Beauty Show has got on the weekly schedule of CMTV with a main broadcast on Tuesdays at 7pm and a rebroadcast at 3pm on Fridays.

“I’m anxious to watch the show and it’s a wonderful thing that we’re having it, thanks to Chilien TV,” a Bova resident told us. Moambo, 17, told us that his friends who use the Internet regularly have always said positive things about the Crystal Beauty Show and he had long waited for the opportunity to view the show. “I’m glad it has shown up,” he said.

The host of the show which had prior to now only been viewed online did not hide her feelings. “Our greatest hope has always been to make this show available to as many people as possible,” from her Boston, USA abort, Crystal Beauty told Tiptopstars.

She went on: “We call it a resounding victory if one other person views the show via another medium other than Internet. So, we are thankful to Chillen TV for accepting the Crystal Beauty Show.”

Crystal however threw back a challenge at potential viewers of the show. “We expect viewers of Chillen TV to give feedback to the station as regards the show – we will need their comments and suggestions to be able to produce more content that will meet their aspirations,” said the TV host who is fast being celebrated.

The Crystal Beauty Show hit the road in 2011. It soon rose to a media sensation. Amongst the guests within the last couple of months, the show has received producer/director of the award-winning Ninah’s Dowry Victor Viyuoh, ex big brother African hero and Jara host Uti Nwachwuku, Congolese music icon Werrason, Mat Atugon (movie actor), Grace Forlu (gospel artist), Hollywood actors such as Bryan McClure, Jim Piddock, Hallee Hirsh, etc
