Graduate TV heroine explains degree in showbiz

The glaring resemblance of a set of identical twins and the overt identical look between Crystal Beauty and entertainment could just be different chapters, but they belong to one story. The thought of the up-and-coming online TV host, living a life without entertainment is clearly an irreparable mistake.

The two live in a religiously rooted relationship that requires nothing more than its outcome to understand. Just as entertainment fits squarely in Crystal Beauty, so too has the young, yet daring TV personality succeeded in striking the cords.

Crystal, who has jacked in movie acting, modeling, entertainment news writing and site administration, etc, would be spotted most of the times with people in the entertainment world.

“They’re my people, so I just find a lot of fun being with them – hahahaha!,” she joked to this writer. “And yes, I’m addicted to entertainment, I really can’t explain why, but that is just how it is,” the USA-based Cameroonian TV host said when we put it to Crystal, that she would plan to take a respite off her passion, but would commonly be caught stealing her way back.

Several times, the Boston-based host of the Crystal Beauty Show has announced retreat, till further notice, from anything entertainment, but hardly has her vacation ever begun, than she is noticed bouncing back with pump and pageantry. The noticeable pleasure with which Crystal runs both her show and red carpet interviews she is now fond of conducting, is something too hard for anything to beat.

She is just too passionately attached to covering events, trailing and talking to artists. This has necessitated the young art communicator to sojourn the United States. “That’s true, I’ve been on the move for the past while and you may want to ask what is she chasing – hahaha!” And what is she chasing? “There you go! My passion of course – hahaha! And, I’m ok with that,” Crystal explained further.

Perhaps, her recent graduation from the Full Sail University (one of the leading American colleges that provides entertainment-related courses) with an MS in Entertainment Business, might have been a surprise to all, except Tiptopstars. Rather, it was a clarifying logical answer to the long-standing question of why the TV host found it difficult to control her love for entertainment, even at the expense of time.

Part of this time was being use to understand the concept of entertainment from the business perspective within the academic confines. “I’ve always been a fan of entertainment, but I’ve also always nursed the thought of how the lives of artists could be more meaningful. This can only happen if they can make a livelihood from their passion, call it job,” Crystal explained. She went further: “This is where the business aspect of the show comes.”

To the Entertainment Business graduate, many young entertainers in her country or continent are more infatuated by the show and have the tendency of forgetting the business aspect and before they know, time has caught up with them and they are out of business. “Contributing in solving this problem is therefore one of the reasons I decided to go and get formal training in Entertainment Business with the benediction of my mum who herself is a fervent fan of Crystal Beauty,” she told TIPTOPSTARS.

Entertainment Business as a study discipline would have therefore been an interesting one, I guess, we put it to Crystal. “Oh sure, with several fascinating courses including; Personal Development and Leadership, Executive Leadership, Project and Team Management, Business Storytelling and Brand Development, Entertainment Business Finance, Negotiations and Deal Making, Product and Artist Management, Advanced Entertainment Law, Entertainment Media Publishing and Distribution, Digital Marketing and Business Plan. Upon graduation, one can serve as artist manager, line producer, music producer, record producer, film/tv producer, etc,” Crystal explained further.

For one thing, Crystal Beauty believes she owes her motherland and giving back would just be the right thing to do. “That’s why I’ve embarked on mentoring and currently bringing up two potential TV hosts,” she told us. “I’d also love to teach and seriously looking forward to doing that.”

Crystal Beauty made her stage appearance in 2011 when at a tender age, she beamed prelim episodes of the Crystal Beauty Show on computer screens the world over. The online TV show that is noted for its friendly nature, spiced by its host’s ever cajoling warmth with guests has risen to a media sensation many would love to love.

Amongst the guests within the last couple of months, she has had the producer/director of the award-winning Ninah’s Dowry Victor Viyuoh, ex big brother African hero and Jara host Uti Nwachwuku, Congolese music icon Werrason, Mat Atugon (movie actor), Grace Forlu (gospel artist), Hollywood actors such as Bryan McClure, Jim Piddock, Hallee Hirsh, etc.
