K-Tino opens church in Libreville

K-Tino is now a converted Christian, precisely of the Pentecost denomination. The former 'erotic Bikutsi bomb' plans to establish an evangelic ministry in the Gabonese capital where she lives with her husband.

Invited this week on Dunamis Radio in Yaounde, the woman of the people said that she now wants to be called Mama Katy. "The K-Tino you knew is in the past, is no longer me", she punctuated. "I am a woman of the people who keenly follow Jesus Christ".

Speaking up loudly, almost screaming and quoting biblical passages, she broke the news of her decision to establish her own church called Heavenly City. And this is no way to make money: "God gave me prosperity, longevity...". I have a land in Yaounde. It's not because of the money; I refused to play Carrossel for 4,000 Euros; I do not want to indulge in any thing filthy. This church should have its base in Libreville in Gabon.

This news has not only shocked people but caused a stir amongst those who appreciated the change of the icon of albums "Ascenseur" (1991), "Thermomètre", "Casser bambou" (1995), "La petite Adeda" (1998), "Ekobo", "Viagra", "Ekargator", "La queue de ma chatte", "Gueguene" (2009), "Atacho" (2010).
