Popular artist K-Tino, often referred to as “woman of the people”, is grieving the tragic loss of her unborn baby after suffering a tragic miscarriage on Monday.

It is with "deep pain" that the Cameroonian singer announced her loss via her Facebook page, while on a trip to Gabon.

"Houlala! I have deep sorrow to announce that I am in the hospital in Libreville where I had a miscarriage last night. My long-awaited baby is finally out," wrote K-Tino.

Despite her grief, the ex-wife of the people converted into "Woman of God" does not give up. Now K-Tino, real name Catherine, remains hopeful she will one day have another baby.

With much courage and optimism, she said. "Soon we will try, try, try again".
