Krystn Enem opens up

Krsten Enem, TV presenter Krsten Enem, TV presenter

"Where is the solidarity?" wrote the host of The Krystn Enow Show in a lengthy post about hate and the lack of solidarity in Cameroon.

Check out her full write up below...

?#?LongRead? ?#?On? the hate in Cameroon. I feel like it is high time we changed our perception on things.

We cannot continue to tear each other down like we do and expect to grow or make progress. Where is the solidarity? We will readily copy others, praise them but bash our own.

If we put in as much effort in promoting or praising our own, then Cameroon will get on the international scene faster.

Until Stanley Enow, nobody knew that Cameroonians even did music, it was always oh! Football, oh Eto (even though that is dead as well) People always asked me, oh you guys don't have musicians in Cameroon?

But thanks to Stanley, we have some kind of representation on the contemporary scene. Nigerians and the rest of Africa have begun to recognize Cameroon. You may say he's untalented but at least he's working hard and pushing his 'crap'.

Dencia is another example. She brought a product and Cameroonians have crucified her (not like she cares, her account is swelling with your negative talks) Bleaching cream or not, she didn't force anybody to buy.

If you do not like her business, all you can do is ignore. Bashing is a sign of weakness and hate. You do not have to like it, but you also do not have to crucify it, 'waka pass' is allowed.

Last year or so, Stanley went to the White House, oh my god, Cameroonians dug up how he wasn't invited by the Obamas but they will hail and praise Kenneth Okonkwo who recently went to the White House (we didn't see him with Obama though, but Cameroonians hailed him even more than Nigerians did because Nigerians 'no send anybody') Stop clapping for other Nationalities and embrace your own.

These girls Lenore Kane and Lily BefabNstaychic have launched their cosmetic line BrightenMi Skincare (which is not a bleaching line by the way) and you all have slaughtered them before actually reading up on what they have to offer.

My skin crawls when I read some comments. I am not saying love them, all I'm saying is 'ignore, waka pass, turn a blind eye or deaf ear' but do not bash. It is unfair to the efforts people are making.

These things take time, money, planning, effort, sleepless nights, tears, sweat, to grow; stop making people feel unworthy and unloved.

Some of these Facebook noisemakers aka bloggers who throw shade at people, please correct your grammar first, especially that boy lol, are you a musician or blogger, you cannot even construct a correct sentence in English.

Stop it!!!
Cameroonians, stop making people feel bad for trying. A Big Thank you to those who support, we appreciate you all.

Those bashers, If you cannot be like those who try, clap for them, if you cannot clap, ignore. This hate is too much. I personally do not care what you think about me or what you say, I will keep doing me and supporting talent the best way I can and keep flying high.

Lol even though a Cameroonian said I am untalented. Lol I am untalented and I have a show on Africa Magic and I wine and dine with the people you will kill to take a picture with lmao(abeg, make I hear word) If you like to join the wagon of game changers, feel free, if you want to remain a hater(loser), by all means.

The sky is large for all to fly, bring what you have on board. If you don't have anything positive to offer, then be a spectator and watch others grow, if you still don't want to be a spectator and insist on being a hater, then you can go on and die with hate and jealousy.

To Lily and Lenore, be strong ladiess, they want to be you ladies so bad but their lack of foresight and motivation is hindering them, so they just hate on what they cannot become.

I love every hardworking youth, ours is the world to conquer. Never ever give up on your dreams. Kudos kudos kudos.

I am off to keep building my empire, copy if you want or 'shiddon look'. Byeeee.

Between! I am currently at Fela's Shrine enjoying a beautiful evening of music and laughter with my brother Shalom Enem join me if you are in Lagos.
