When I saw his images on my brother’s phone it almost knocked me down. The word of it all is he's a Cameroonian.

Readers let me introduce you to a Cameroonian transgender model, singer and the US drag queen Bebe Zahara Benet.

Born Nea Marshall Kudi Ngwa hails from Cameroon.
Born and raised in Cameroon, the little Marshall realised his affinity for makeups, clothes and hair as a taboo since there was no drag culture in Cameroon.

The former PSS makon student moved to France as model when on the runway a female model was absent and Marshall opted to step out of his trousers into an elegant evening gown walked on the runway impersonating the female model which amazed the whole crowd and there the name Bebe Zahara was born.

Bebe was the winner of the inaugural season of RuPaul's Drag race. The US drag superstar has used this platform to educate and sensitise individuals on the pride and dignity found in the art of drag and also letting her audience know that dressing up for a living does not make him less of a man.

She challenges people to stand firm and find excitement in what they do and what makes them happy.

Now you know who the real miss drag US queen is.
