Petit-Pays slams Fomaric organizer after withdrawal

Petit-Pays, author of "Rabba Rabbi" announced his withdrawal from the Fomaric Festival organized by the former leader of the "Black styl”.

He accused him of organising for equipment with poor sound quality. For that matter, Petit Pays has decided to not participate in the Fomaric Festival. This event has been consistently organized by François Nkotti for 22 years.

He announced this in a video broadcast on 11th February 2015. "I put an end to the relationship between Fomaric and I. It is finished. It's been 20 years since they promised good sound system. I waited all this while, but nothing has improved. One cannot earn a lot of money and refuse to better the conditions of his project", he said, angrily. What fueled Petit-Pays withdrawal is what happened on February 7, 2015.

Facing tens of thousands of spectators at the Festival Fomaric (musical, artistic, industrial and commercial fair) at the sports complex of Camtel, he suffered technical problems which compromised the sound quality of his performance.

"This is not serious, it is not honest. On February 7,200,000 people were present in Camtel. I sang and people could not hear me because the sound system was not good. This is unacceptable! He cannot make so much money and not spend some on such a grand show. This drains me. I am done with them. Fomaric and me are finished!".

Reached by telephone by cameroon-info.net, François Nkotti had the following reaction: 'I do not respond to this kind of remarks. I have heard of things like this. I'm not a fan of social networks. I do not know why he is angry.
