Stanley Enow and Charlotte Dipanda made Cameroon proud at the All African Music Awards (AFRIMA).

They both won the Best Male and Female Artiste in Central Africa. The awards ceremony took place at the Eko Hotel and suites in Lagos, Nigeria.

Ghanaian, Stonebwoy continued his dominance as king of African dancehall as he won the dancehall, ragga and reggae artist of the year.

South African rivals AKA and Cassper Nyovest both picked up awards as well with Diamond Platnumz picking the biggest gong on the night, Artist of the Year, Africa.

Best African Group – Sauti Sol (Kenya)

Best Artist in African Rock – M’vula (Kenya)

Best Female Artist (Western Africa) – Yemi Alade

Best male Artist (western Africa) – Olamide

Best Artist in African Jazz – Kunle Ayo

Best Artist in African Traditional – Gangbe Brass Band

Best Artist in African Contemporary – Charlotte Dipanda

Most Promising Artist in Africa – Kiss Daniel

Revelation of the Year in Africa – Adekunle Gold

Songwriter of the Year in Africa – Joseph Chameleone (Uganda)

Best Artist in African Hip-Hop – Cassper Nyovest

Best African Pop Artiste – Vanessa Mdee

Video of the Year – Wiyaala

Best Male Artist in Inspirational – Darey

Best Female Artist in Inspirational – Betty Akna
