T - Pain and P-Square to storm Yaounde, August 9

For its very first edition in Africa, "Be involved for the Youth" (BIFTY) as part of the Mega event that will loop its activities, presents to the Cameroonian youth the American Star, T-Pain and the sensations of African music Peter and Paul, P-Square.

Activities for "Be involved for the Youth" (BIFTY) were announced July 21 under the patronage of the first lady of Cameroon and Goodwill Ambassador, Mrs. Chantal Biya.

Under the theme, 'Music in the service of humanitarian commitment of the youth', BIFTY in partnership with the American media On-Spot companies (with its different branches worldwide) and in association with international renowned artistes brings a major project aimed at working in the social, the educational and humanitarian domain in favour of African youth and Cameroonian youth in particular.

A meeting with the press in prelude to the two important humanitarian and cultural events in favour of said target (youth) was held Wednesday in the offices of the Irondel sis Association at Cité verte commercial centre in Yaoundé.

The first phase of BIFTY, referred to as "Before the Party", is a private acoustic party, open to some 300 VIP guests (the "makers"), who will participate in hotel La Falaise (Capitol side) in Yaoundé, in a unique musical delivery by as Vincent Nguini, group Macase, Sally Nyolo, Sanzy Mahima.

The said evening will be furnished by a projection of reports for humanitarian purposes, the performance of artistes and a fundraiser to support orphanages and centres for the reintegration of the young underprivileged.

On July 27, these artistes will visit health centres and orphanages in the capital for the distribution of donations from ‘Before the party’, and on August 9, the Amadou Ahidjo Stadium will host a mega concert where International stars like P-Square and T-Pain will be present.

The artistes will first of all participate in round a table discussion as well as a press conference under the theme: "the ills affecting African youth”. Other guests expected at this beautiful music-sharing event include: X-MALEYA, Stanley Enow, Duke - Z, Mani Bella and many others.

On-Spot Enterprises, with slogan "Let's not forget our Girls...Bring them back now", will benefit from this exceptional event to join the international solidarity movement born after the abduction of over 200 young Nigerians by the Islamist sect Boko Haram.

The second edition of BIFTY has been scheduled to take place in 2015 in Abidjan (Ivory Coast).
