Taraji P. Henson revealed on her twitter few days ago that she has Cameroonian roots from her mother's side.

The 4th episode of Season 2 of the popular TV series; Empire, in which she features in as Cookie Lyon, was premiered at Fox Tv.

A fan gave her a shout out in a tweet that she was watching her from Cameroon and Taraji replied that she has roots from Cameroon.
