The Director of the Festival of Ecrans Noirs faced the media recently at the Solomon Tandeng Muna Foundation. Due to this meeting, several points regarding this new celebration were known and Marcel took the opportunity to talk more about the event.
It is the 18th edition of Ecrans Noirs and we need the exchange between its organizational Committee and the press.
“It was a pleasure to see so many media support www.culturebene.com especially, because we do not ignore its weight on the large canvas. I found this a very interesting exchange, and I welcome the fact that the questions of the journalists were relevant: criteria for selection of films for the functioning of the festival, funding and urgent challenges facing, all this shows us their interest and concern to see Ecrans Noirs go even further” Marcel Epée said.
Precisely because there has been a report, otherwise, officially the Ecrans Noirs festival this year 2014 goes from 19 to 26 July.
We use to fix the dates long in advance, except that this year, you will agree with me that the World Cup is a major event and the public should well enjoy this world event and subsequently, the festival. Therefore, we shifted the date.
The primary objective of the festival is to promote and disseminate African cinema by movies of qualifications. This year, we reward works and talents during the competitions.
One of the important points needed to emphasize is that we inspire cinemas, Moroccan and Nigerian, with theme: "Cinema: Art, trade, industry, both Moroccan and Nigerian. What a choice for Central Africa?»
This Conference will be coordinated by people who have mastery on cinema and are internationally renowned. Participation in the Symposium requires registration long in advance for just 60 seats will be available.
