The ‘Write Black, Sing Black’ music competition launched by the #MADE OF BLACK GUINNESS CAMEROON crowned its winner, Drims Prinz who left a lasting impression on the crowd after a great performance.
The event which was held at Diageo headquarters in Douala had an audience of journalists and prestigious guests including brand loyal consumers of Malta and Guinness (beer).
Drims Prinz is a genius when it comes to the composition of lyrics which earned him the winner with an amount of 1 million francs as his prize. His creativity also allowed him to get ahead of his direct challengers B- Spanner and Fredy who placed second and third respectively. They were presented with a cash prize of 250,000 francs each.
Besides the official presentation of the prizes, the presence of Stanley ‘Black Style’ Enow and Gasha, added a special color to the celebration. These two, who have been around a few months have impacted in Cameroon and urban culture in the most beautiful way.
It was also important to clarify at the event that ‘MADE OF BLACK’, is not only about colour but based more on attitude. It characterizes people who believe in themselves, in their future, and are able to transform their dreams into reality.
‘MADE OF BLACK’ therefore represents creative people, entrepreneurs, artistes and those who dream of a better future and are not afraid to excel to achieve it.
Through the famous GUINNESS® MADE OF BLACK campaign, these Cameroonians were individuals who were passionate about success, traced their own purpose in life and were confident at all times. Also they were prepared to meet the challenges and proud to leave a mark both in the present and future.
In the momentum of the discovery of blacks and young talents, Guinness Cameroon achieved another objective as a promoter of excellence and talent.
