The integrity of Jesus Christ was tested during his life-time again and again. Forty days in the desert confronted with Satan’s temptations did not move him at all in the light of his sufferings. In the Temple seeing the Traders and Gamblers misusing the Holy Place of his Father Jehovah, he knew what was right and wrong and took decisive actions by throwing them out.
Dispute Societies with respect for Humanity at heart are able to develop societies to higher levels and bring Empires to progressive life while Consensus Societies make humans suffer in their imperfection and darkness…Ghana is a visible example for a society misunderstanding human development.
Jesus Christ never made a compromise to please people or forgot to distinguish right from wrong. People where questioning his actions and words, some by putting shame on him and assaulting him. Jesus was never moved by poor judgments about his actions. True Christians are asked to follow in his footsteps as a Creation in the Image of God.
In Ghana, and for that matter in all African countries, the inability of black people to be true Christians is visible in too many places. God’s nature is destroyed by lack of respect for our environment and plastic bags are found everywhere. When confronted a Ghanaian would say that he does not mention to his Sister walking in front of him to pick up the emptied sachet rubber dropped down rather taking notice of the wrong behavior and passing by not wanting to be fighting her and get into trouble. This Ghanaian knows what is wrong and right but for the sake of peace being inactive.
Jesus Christ was a Man of believe, knowing right from wrong and an Action hero.
It seems to be a common ritual of African Men to attend Church Service on Sundays well dressed with their wives and children asking for forgiveness of sins and receiving of blessings while Mondays following having sex again with their girl-friend thinking no man can eat Palm soup each and everyday.
They call each other Brother, Sister, Uncle, Mama regardless of their bloodline, smiling into their faces, exchanging nice words of love and peace with one another, when turning their back on them gossiping about them in the worst possible manner not wanting them to succeed in life rather pull them down to their evil level of suffering and pain.
When a Black Man sees a business at the horizon coming through the long prayed for open door by God’s grace, he does not have humble feelings in his spirit but the endless shameful desire of more and more. Greediness and selfishness are written on the forehead of Africans out of which corruption emerges in many African countries the basis of Politicians to rob their fellow countrymen of their prosperous future.
By the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, God had given his only begotten son as a sacrifice to his people only having to realize in Africa Church-Goers hear about this special moment in time while having no deep understanding of the real and deep implication this gift has for the life and development of Humans in time and space.
God can only open doors and ask Men and Women of God to share with others his Creation and the story around it, while it is the duty of Humans to go actively through open doors with humble feelings and attitude upright as truly blessed people with the command in their backpack to share the good news with others.
Africans not willing to disconnect with their past and old customs being truly born new again like an open, purely white sheet of paper on which God can write his scriptures, will not be able to be called true Christians. God does not recognize Christians by their offerings, tithes, their nice talks, beautiful African Fabrics sewed into nice dresses accompanied by High Heels hard to walk in, but only in daily actions of lovingly determination to make what is right to rule the world as he wants his people to be righteous in all things, small or great.
Until Africans understand and live this simple truth, God will keep them in the Darkness of their suffering in the midst of richness for many more years to come as he did with his chosen people walking around the Promised Land for forty years instead of entering after forty days of marching from the Darkness of the Pharaoh.
