The various facets of insecurity in Cameroon

Our country is trying to dive into overall insecurity, although we realise it altogether. Global insecurity, in which Cameroon faces, translated the notorious lack of State authorities being aware of their responsibilities and the gravity of the situation. We are moving slowly, but towards a total insecurity in the whole of the national territory surely.

What does not auspicious naturally the beginnings of a social peace so much desired by our people, to address its economic and social development tasks, coming to maturity.

Thus, apart from unsustainable and unbearable living conditions imposed on us, by Mr Biya and his regime, it is added that our security is at the moment strained, by the development of several outbreaks of insecurity across the country.

And unfortunately, the Cameroon as Biya seems to find solution, is unable to contain or to bring the less effective against those households in their solution, opposing public security forces to the size of the danger that they hover over all the people and its peaceful populations.

The absence of authority or the laxity of the State, public safety instilled in the minds of some citizens or groups of citizens ill-intentioned, businesses of malfeasance at the expense of the peaceful populations without any protection from the State.

So, it is because our authorities are not concerned, because their safety is in all ways provided by our public forces, which they wallow, to leave Cameroonian populations all regions together, in this room of total insecurity.

Tolerance of militias armed or unarmed, given the lack of aggressive to effectively combat organized crime of any kind is a serious shortcoming for a State of law and in addition a Republic.

It is inconceivable or even unacceptable for a country such as Cameroon, in which there are all kinds of public security forces crowded experience and know-how, such as: a national police multifunctional and multidisciplinary to ensure urban security, a gendarmerie to fill the absence of police in other parts of the territory and serves as a hyphen with the regular national army that monitors our borders, that we can not cope and get tipped in insecurity.
