Why steal the cookies when you can actually have it?

It’s a subject that makes people behave in a very funny way the moment it’s talked about. I’m actually giggling as I write this on this page. People have very extreme view of the effect of sex and how both men and women behave towards the subject.

In the same way you tend to get the mostly skewed argument that women know they want it but they want the men to take the initiative or perhaps be the lead when it comes to that.

As a result of this, you find some men forcefully stealing from women when they actually could have it when the time is right. I’m sure the first question on your mind is …’Ah this lady when do you describe as right time?’ Well, sorry. I didn’t come here to argue with you on that here.

But I just feel that we need to hit the hammer right on the nail when it comes to the matter of rape.

I’ve just been wondering why men rape. I know. I’ve actually heard men tell me that women too rape them. That’s not what I’m talking about here. I guess if you check the percentage of how many women are raped compared with that of men, you’ll get to understand why rape is popularly a male offence.

A lot of the time, I try to find out from my male friends why some men rape. But they honestly refuse to answer me; always referring me to ask the rapists. But that’s certainly not possible for me in every case. Is it that difficult to get sex from a woman?

Is it true that women are hypocrites when it comes to this subject? Ah! And please don’t ask me to answer. I’m not every woman.

But which ever the answer is, I’ve just been thinking. How do you feel when a woman struggles with you to give something that’s supposed to be mutual? Don’t you feel bad?

And I’m not talking only about those who’ve been reported and probably arrested and incarcerated.

And it’s interesting the kind of answers you get when some of these men are put before court. In our part of the world, you get these men telling you they were influenced by the devil. Hahaha.

And this really reminds me of a joke I heard. If you would permit me; it’s not a long joke. It says an angel of God found the devil terribly weeping around the corner of a building somewhere. And he asked. “Koo. Why are you mourning?” And guess the answer the devil gave? He replied almost everyone was blaming him for their bad breaks. What hurt him most was a recent allegation from a man. He said he had an idea about it.

I’m saying that the issue of rape can be avoided if some of these men get to understand that it’s not attractive to forcefully take something from a woman; her dignity, her pride and her sense of protection. Stop it!

Sometimes people do this to pay “a hard” girl back. Other times, it’s just to prove a point to some male friends. But what’s the use?

You hear some of them say ‘Oh this girl. She thinks she’s a champion. I go finish am’. Is that all there is?

“So Beatrice what do you do when I really want to do this for whichever reason?, “You’re certainly not a man so you don’t understand. Right?”

The answer is still not in putting someone in pain to get what you want. You surely know within you. Deep down in your heart, you know how to tackle this. Search your heart. You have the answer. Have a great day.
