American NGO agrees to help patients with rare diseases

The Minister of Public Health and the Representative of the American based Non Governmental Organisation Messi Donavan Palmer have signed an agreement on the treatment of rare infections in Cameroon.

Accordingly, the NGO undertakes to provide free treatment for people suffering from rare infections.

The agreement signed by Minister Andre Mama Fouda will help patients suffering from a number of infections considered shamefull ; Some of these illnesses include cleft lift, vigina fistula, tmumour amongst others .

The government through the Minitster of Public Health expressed gratituted to the Non Governmental body promising to shoulder part of the expenses for the treatment especially for patients from out of town.

The agreement also cites that, the Ministry of Public health will pay for the transfer of patients from their various regions to the treatment centres.
