This was the observation made by members of the 4th ongoing humanitarian mission. Last year, there were positive and negative things which were pointed out regarding the functioning of the centre.
"We addressed our grievances and this time I can really say that the negatives have been significantly improved in terms of collaboration, synchronization, improvement of the technology available to the technical team.
Dr. Jean-Luc Jansens, Member of the 4th Belgian humanitarian mission of cardiac surgery who have been at work since October 28, 2014, appreciated the progress made by the general hospital in Douala (HGD) since the last visit of the group a year ago.
Progress was also noted by Pr Jacques Berre, re-animator, "in terms of work organisation. Cameroonian nurses were ready, very active and enthusiastic. The same for doctors making Belgian and local physicians better armed for surgeries for this year.
