The renewal of the executive committee of the Cameroon Football Federation is expected between 10 and 29 November.
This is one of the joints that are in the draft schedule of the electoral process and decentralized Fécafoot League, established by the Standards Committee, after meeting at its headquarters on Tuesday in Tsinga, Yaoundé.
In fact, this schedule is taken for the electoral contests within the federal authority, while the process itself will be set in motion before.
The elections begin in effect in the county leagues and regional leagues before, that is to say, from 1 October to 5 November 2014. In previous renewals squabbles among parties led to the crisis and suspension of Cameroon.
"The electoral process has been fully democratized, and it will be transparent. The polls will be transparent," reassures Joseph Owona, the chairman of Committee for Standardization.
Elections in leagues will however be preceded by the adoption of their statutes by each meeting of departmental and regional leagues, followed by the dissolution of said meetings.
After that the draft text is made available to members of the general meeting of Fécafoot and decentralized between 28 and 31 July. Election commissions of the various leagues in charge of managing the process within them are to be appointed between 4 and 7 August.
It should be noted that the elections in decentralized leagues mark the beginning of a ballot system in Fécafoot.
Owona to quit Committee December 2
Officially, the mandate of the standards committee comes to an end on November 30. But ultimately, Joseph Owona’s team take two extra days to ensure the passage of light to the new executive board and newly elected in single member constituencies expected from 10 to 29 November 2014.
