CPDM, SDF senators to join forces in development of Adamawa

They went to affirm their determination to work synergistically for the well-being of all decentralized territorial authorities in Adamawa.

The ten Adamawa Senators come from two political parties namely the SDF and the CPDM but despite this plurality of political chapels, they were determined to join forces to promote the well-being of the peoples in this region.

This was revealed by Baba Hamadou, their spokesman, during the interview which took place on Monday, October 27, 2014 in the meetings of the Governor's room.

This is the first time Senators from opposition parties have come together, not only to highlight the problems facing local authorities in Adamawa, but also to affirm their common desire to accompany the municipal magistrates of this region in their battle to establish the well-being of people living in their municipalities.

In the discussions they had with the Governor, senators did not fail to present the obstacles they encounter on the ground. While recognizing the relevance of their comments, Abakar Ahamat, governor of the region recommended to its visitors, more humility and modesty. The senators expressed the wish that such meetings that allow them to exchange with the Governor are held regularly.
