Marafa Hamidou Yaya is Biya’s creation- Jean Paul Mbia

To the Head of the Communication Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and responsible for missions at the Central Committee of the CPDM, the former Minister of Territorial Administration demonstrates ingratitude vis-à-vis the Head of State who did exist politically.

The last book of Marafa Hamidou Yaya, titled: "Elections Action, My 10 Years As MINATD," a book of 409 pages published by Editions du Schabel, continues to generate reactions within the Cameroonian political class, particularly in the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) party power.

After the response of Jacques Fame Ndongo, Secretary of Communication of the party who has questioned the former MINATD on the origin of the reforms which he appropriates in this book, it was the turn of Jean Paul Mbia, Head of Unit Communication at the Ministry of Higher Education, Policy Officer at the Central Committee of the CPDM to demolish the confidence in the former MINATD.

For collaborator Jacques Fame Ndongo, Marafa Hamidou Yaya is nothing other than ungrateful. "Before 1992, the Minister Marafa did not exist. He had no elected office or a traditional term as "Lamido" chosen by his peers in the north, nor a scientific term as recognized as a tribune of the place, he has not ever had a mandate elected as a municipal councilor or MP ... The act that now arises is to dissociate the liability of the party to assert its assets in terms of posture ... The CPDM regime which I am head of mission at the Central Committee is entitled to ask him about this political booty he could keep, which is already preparing to have ambitions ... It is therefore against him, this lack of loyalty, vis-à-vis this party recognition within which it is still militant. The former Minister Marafa today is a construction of the CPDM claiming him a minimum of recognition and loyalty to the party, so the ideals in which he agreed to work is a creation of Paul Biya since 1992.", explained Mbia, a communications teacher on the show "Right of Reply" on Equinoxe TV.

This has not failed to return to the path of one who, since his incarceration is illustrated by epistolary output valued differently to show how the native of Garoua has long enjoyed the confidence of the Head of State. "From Secretary of State for Finance, he is special advisor to the presidency for a relatively short time and then Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic where he spent four years, nine months - this is the longevity record at post so far. Now, he was promoted to the Ministry of Territorial Administration, where he spent nearly nine and a half years by the confident man who chooses and co-opted by his side and thus gives a registered office by the force of decree." Argued the member of the CPDM.

Meanwhile other critics say the book of the former Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization has already illustrated the literary phenomenon of the end of the year in Cameroon.
