Prof. Maurice Kamto and the MRC inconsistent

The leader of the popular Movement for the Revival of Cameroon (MRC) Maurice Kamto is at war with a member of parliament from his own party Cameroon Concord has gathered.

Hon. Lazarus Souob of the Wouri East third district in Douala had recently accused the French government of supporting the Boko Haram incursion in the North of Cameroon.

Our intelligence officer reported that the Hon.Lazarus Souob declaration angered a representative from the French embassy who walked out of the forum in protest.

Hon. Souob added that the French were behind the chaos currently going on in the Central African Republic.

Maurice Kamto issued a statement yesterday contradicting his deputy while vindicating the French.

The Kamto reaction has left many political observers wondering over the future of MRC and the position of the MRC vis-a-vis the Boko Haram sect and the French government participation.

It is important to include in this report that all major media houses in Cameroon had published editorials accusing the French of being behind the Boko Haram militants.
