Tension mounts in CPDM UK camp

Growing frustration accentuated by petty rivalry and personal conflicts have left the UK Section of the ruling CPDM in disarray following a decision by the webmaster of the official CPDM website in Yaoundé to publish campaign materials from the vice president of the UK South Sub-Section, Grace Elone.

Our source revealed that discussions are ongoing in both the North and South to report the matter to the national chairman President Paul Biya.

The decision to create a link on the official CPDM Central Committee page that guides militants and visitors to Grace Elone’s private website has provoked many militants including those of UK CPDM. Members are lambasting the leader in question as supporters of the new Section President Prince Julian Ebai also blamed the delegate in charge of CPDM Diaspora Jean Pierre Fogui for the shortfalls in the destabilization of the party in Great Britain.

The controversy started recently when UK CPDM militants visited the official website of the party (www.rdpcpdm.cm) and discovered that no information existed on CPDM United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, but instead found a link that directs visitors to a private page belonging to Madam Grace Elone.

All attempts to get the CPDM Section president of the UK Section, Prince Julian Ebai have yielded no results.

At the time of writing this report, the CPDM Sub-Section president of the North of UK, Comrade Alfred Bate Bawak confirmed that the official CPDM website now has a link that takes visitors to Grace Elone’s private internet site.

Our UK correspondent who is following up this developing story, added that Chief Martin Ewoma, a chartered member of CPDM UK was heard murmuring privately that Samuel Libock, former Cameroon ambassador to the United Kingdom would never have accepted the current state of disorder in the party. More soon.
