Four days after the serious car accident that left six dead and a dozen injured at Biyem-Assi district, the president of the Movement for the Rebirth of Cameroon (Mrc), was yesterday at the bedside of the survivors still on admission in some hospitals in Yaounde.
Maurice Kamto and a handful of activists in his party began their visit at Nescas school complex, a school that had three students dead and others seriously injured after the accident occurred.
The procession was then shaken at the scene of the tragedy. Maurice Kamto discovered that four days after the tragedy, the wreckage of the vehicle is still there.
At the District Hospital of Biyem-Assi, two students of Nescas were on admission until yesterday, only one student was still in the pediatric ward of the clinic.
Yaounde Central Hospital ended the tour of Maurice Kamto, the President of Mrc where he was led by Joseph Fouda, the hospital director, to comfort the three patients still interned.
The director of the Yaounde Central Hospital was satisfied with the visit of Pr. Kamto. A move that, according to him, goes beyond political divisions.
