A 22-year-old pregnant lady, Ngono Ngah Marie, is no more. She died in a train on her way to Edea in the Littoral Region as a result of a malaise.

Reliable sources said she left her home town, Mesongo, to Edea in the Sanaga-Maritime Division, when she died suddenly.

Though some passengers said she died of suffocation, the Divisional Officer for Sanaga-Maritime Subdivision has ordered an autopsy in order to know the exact cause of her death after which her corpse would be transferred to the Edea District Hospital Mortuary.
